Aging Life Care Professional
Tori is an Aging Life Care Manager with All About Aging and has been on our team since 2021. She received her Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2018 while starting her family of four. She is a member of the Aging Life Care Association and working towards certification.
Tori looks at all our clients as if they were a family member of her own. She dives into each person and views their lives as a whole. This holistic approach means she plans, implements, and evaluates techniques for improving each person’s quality of life. She highly values the importance and strength of advocating to medical professionals and others involved in client care to maximize quality of life. Tori’s plans of care for clients center around providing peace of mind and solutions to clients as well as their families.
Tori’s persistence, tenacity, and resilience help her connect with clients. At the beginning of her college career, she volunteered in hospice. Tori visited one woman who mostly slept through Tori’s visits. Before Tori was involved, this woman would refuse care and consistently cause ruckus and trouble to the staff. Tori was warned three previous volunteers had already been scared away. Tori let this all roll off her back and visited the woman religiously until her school year was over. After Tori moved on from volunteering with hospice, the facility informed her the woman asked about her all the time. The woman started accepting care from both CNAs and physicians. She even started attending therapy! Tori realized sometimes people just need to connect with the right person in their life to make a positive change.
Tori spends her spare time caring for her family, attending kids sporting events and family gatherings. She also helps in her grandmother’s 55+ community, doing small repairs and errands. Tori rescues animals and paints when she finds free time. Tori is a busy girl with a big heart for caring for others.
